Admin Account Overview
Abacus administrators have access to both the Personal and Admin dashboards, which allow admins to monitor company spending and card activity.
Admin Dashboard
When you log in to Abacus, you will be taken to your Dashboard. Here you may get a quick overview of recent card activity and spending and issue new cards.
The Question Mark button gives you access to the Help Center, where you can follow Abacus' implementation guides, and gives you the ability to provide feedback and read about feature updates. There is also an FAQs section, where you can access questions commonly asked by our admins and users.
Clicking on your user name opens a drop-down menu from which you may access your Personal Settings or log out of Abacus.
Click the
Gear icon to open the Company Settings page.Company Settings
This page is the centralized control of your organization's entire Abacus account. Here, Admins can make changes to company information, manage card programs, set up accounting integration, manage categories, manage custom Team Fields and Expense Fields, manage app integrations, and more.
Admins can also use the Company Settings page to connect a company bank account in order to issue reimbursements and manage corporate card programs.
Admin Sidebar
In the sidebar on the left of the Abacus homepage, click Admin to access the administrator dashboard.
You can use the Admin sidebar to navigate to different pages within Abacus.
- Cards: See all of your team's card requests and transactions, manage your card programs via Team Cards, and see recurring spend.
- Reimbursable Expenses: View and approve reimbursable expenses (i.e., expenses that employees have paid for themselves that require reimbursement from the company).
- Trips: Create and organize expenses related to a business trip, monitor travel spend, and speed up the review and approval process.
- People: Use the People page to invite new employees, organize users into groups, change user permissions, or deactivate an account.
- Spend Policy: Build custom rules and routes and display your organization's expense policy details.
Personal Sidebar
This is similar to the Admin Sidebar; however, all the pages in this sidebar relate only to your personal expenses or cards.
