Abacus supports international reimbursement payments through TransferWise. This feature is available on the Professional or Enterprise plan. If you have multiple international bank accounts you would like to use to reimburse your international employees, you must have a separate Abacus instance for each currency in order to fund reimbursement in different currencies. Please note, are able to reimburse multiple different currencies from a single source currency.
Once your TransferWise account has been setup, you can easily link it your Abacus account to start funding reimbursements. To do this, head over to the ‘Company Bank Account’ tab in the ‘Account and Settings’ page in your Abacus account. Here you should see a button to connect to TransferWise:
If you do not see this button in your account, please reach out to firstname.lastname@example.org or your Customer Success Manager.
Next, you will be prompted to enter your TransferWise account details to authorize the connection.
